“The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) would like to take the opportunity to thank you, your team at Insuraplex and your sub-contractors for the exceptional work you completed at 8 Nicholson Street (State Control Centre). The pressure was put on your team from day one and they heeded the call. These dedicated construction professionals showed what great teamwork is all about. We challenged Insuraplex to complete the project in just over five months. This was an incredibly fast-track schedule, given that refurbishments of this scale, typically require at least eight to nine months. Insuraplex’s versatility and experience with complex construction enabled them to meet this aggressive schedule while achieving DJCS high quality and safety standards. They were on top of things without having to be constantly monitored, and if they had to make a discretionary decision, it was a good one. Insuraplex’s attention to detail and management of all subcontractors and work site personnel was outstanding. Their project managers communicated well with my team and were responsive to our questions and concerns through the many changes along the way. It is not very often that I find myself in a position to write a letter such as this one, where we had such a favourable experience in a very time-sensitive reinstatement project. Emergency Management Victoria’s refurbished tenancy in Melbourne is up and about to be operational, at a level beyond the departments expectations for a job that was completed in such a short time frame. Under the leadership of David Cameron, Insuraplex certainly exceeded our expectations with their work on reinstating the State Control Centre.”

Senior Project Manager, Department of Justice and Community Safety
“The construction works on our site were highly complex, and Insuraplex should be commended for the professional way in which they navigated through and executed on key challenges. David and his team showed a significant capability to utilise creative and innovative thinking in order to deal with the unique aspects of our site and the project. This included the significant level of infrastructure surrounding the build area, the 24/7 operational mill environment, and the unpredictable regional Victorian climate. Insuraplex worked highly collaboratively with our team, and showed great respect for both the operational needs of the premises, alongside the clear project and deadline based imperatives. We were very pleased with the outcome of the project, and would recommend Insuraplex to anyone in similar circumstances.”

“I would like to mention that I am very pleased with the experience that I received from Insuraplex. As you can imagine, this was a very stressful time for me, being closed and dealing with the unexpected issues that emerged after removing the vinyl floor. Insuraplex were extremely professional and prompt with dealing with my concerns and quickly rectified these problems in a timely manner. I couldn’t recommend this company any higher regarding their works and services, if you require an insurance builder in the future. They did an amazing job getting me back open and trading.”

“Insuraplex prove time and time again that they are reliable. Working recently with them on a large explosion loss in regional Victoria, we had a number of hurdles to overcome including a difficult site and complex structures and Insuraplex were able to negotiate the areas of concern and provide better solutions. For example providing engineering solutions to support overhead conveyor systems whilst in operation utilizing existing foundation’s over a tunnel, replacement of wall cladding using abseiling technology saving insurers considerable sums. They were innovative with their approach and calculated with the decisions that were made. I would highly recommend Insuraplex as I have found them to be fantastic to deal as my client is very satisfied with the overall outcomes.”

“After a recent fire impacted one of our prized assets we were pleasantly surprised with the response from Insuraplex. Our two level establishment needed to remain operational whilst the upstairs needed the repairs from the fire damage. It was much to our delight that throughout the entire time Insuraplex were onsite they managed all aspects of this very easily and without disrupting our patrons. Business was pretty much open as normal. I couldn’t be more grateful with Insuraplex’s ability to repair our building in such a timely and efficient manner. I would highly recommend Ruvin Ivenskis and the team at Insuraplex.”

“A complex data and communications centre suffered a significant fire, and were subsequently forced to relocate to alternate premises. After months of minimal progress Insuraplex were engaged to take over the project. The client was extremely concerned that they could be at considerable risk without the reinstated control centre being operational by Spring 2019. Insuraplex were given the challenge to have the facility completed by 26th September to allow for relocation of infrastructure to occur over the grand final weekend. This highly complex reinstatement was undertaken over multiple shifts, 7 days a week. They tackled adversity due to mould and contamination discovery throughout the project, as well as statutory upgrades, however Insuraplex were still able to meet the extremely tight deadline and provide a quality product. MSM’s client would like to thank Insuraplex for their efforts.”

“What.A.Job....Well done to all trades, engineers, building surveyors, project managers, programmers, labourers, assessors, valuers, insurers, contents storers, removalists and installers, cleaners and all involved and especially Insuraplex for leading and managing this project. I cant personally thank all of you enough... We all have been part of something incredible and to get he result of a centre that is now leading edge compared with other like centres across Australia - top job! October 1 we will go live and operate at near 100% capacity with minimal defects (no really - minimal defects) that can be resolves quickly but not affect operational activity and requirements of the centre. Thank you for your hard work, frank and fearless advice and generally "we can get this done" attitude. You have all contributed to the safety of Victorians before, during and after emergencies. Please pass onto your staff that have also contributed to the revitalised State Control Centre - SCC 8NS. Thank you and you are always welcome to see the centre in full flight this summer and stand back and say "we did this!"”
